History Who are the Grp4Art? Grp4Art is comprised of four artists: Virginia Chin, Roxsane K. Tiernan, Marjorie Wong and Kathleen Susan Young. The group joined together in 2001 to support, encourage and motivate each other as well as to exhibit our artwork. Our work includes a variety of media such as pen & ink, graphite, watercolour, acrylics, pastels, mixed media and chigiri-e’ (Japanese torn paper collage) and encompasses a wide range of subject matter and style. We have exhibited our artwork both as a group and individually at juried shows, various Arts Council galleries, the Federation Gallery, local businesses and small adjunct galleries throughout the Greater Vancouver area. Following is a brief introduction to our artists...in alphabetical order of course: Virginia Chin...Virginia became an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists in 1998. She enjoys working with graphite, pen and ink, watercolours, pastel, and experimenting with mixed media. Her drawings and paintings interpret her impressions of a variety of subjects which speak to her heart. She has a keen interest for the visual arts and has taken a variety of art classes at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts and attended workshops by well-known artists to develop her skills.
