Peg Williams

Peg Williams is a Canadian painter and poet whose work is rooted in place and travel. Raised in Trinidad and Tobago, she brings a lifelong sensitivity to light and environment, later deepened through training as a biologist. Drawing inspiration from landscapes in Canada and along Mexico’s Pacific coast, her paintings translate lived experience into bold, colour-driven compositions.

Working both en plein air and in the studio, Peg’s paintings explore light, structure, and the atmosphere of the places she inhabits. Her poems have also been exhibited in Mexico alongside her paintings.

Exhibitions include solo and group shows in Mexico and group exhibitions in Canada.
